I watched it already! It was AWESOME! I love Zooey Deschanel! She is so pretty and she has really nice clothes. Yes she does. I think the ending was quite funny. As in that one last scene alone when the girl's name turns out to be..... watch it and you'll know. hahaha. Zooey doesn't believe in love in the movie. She doesn't think that such a thing exists. But in the end, Joseph's words rang true:"You'll know it when you meet it." And she did while it disillusionised Joseph. But then again, how many people will really marry a guy who comes up to you and ask about the book you were reading about one day? Chances are.. zilch. Oh, by the way, something really odd-funny happened after the movie when I was on my way to meet my parents at vivo city.
I was waiting at Orchard MRT Station and reading Persuasion by Jane Austen (you can gasp in horror later, but that is not my point!). I was pretty engrossed when suddenly this guy came up to me.
Guy: Sorry, do you know which way to go to Tanjong Pagar?
(obviously some tourist or some one new to singapore)
Me: Uh. (like I know) I think you will be taking this way (points) to city hall and you change trains.
Guy: oh. ok. so how long will it take?
Me: (how big do you think singapore is?) I'm not sure, about half an hour.
Guy: Half an Hour??
Me: Uh.... (what??) that will perhaps be the longest estimated time. maybe fifteen.
Guy: Oh. Half an hour is long. (rattles off some thing I don't freakin remember.) so what is it that you are reading?
Me: (the scenes of 500 days of summer flashing through my mind. No, this cannot be. HE IS CUTE BTW.) flips book over and showed him.
Guy: Persuasion? oh. I didn't know Jane Austen wrote
psychological books.
Me: (what is he talking about???) Uh no, it's a novel. about waiting.
Guy: waiting? waiting for bus? taxi?
Me: (har. I KNEW it would be too good to be true.) Nope. Waiting for someone.
Train pulls in and we board. Not into the sunset. duh.
How creepy. Not the guy. He is cute. Caucasian. I mean the encounter. wierd.

That was yesterday's fateful encounters after The Sports Carnival at Sembawang Park.
Today, I have a class observation in 3C. Thay are usually angels in front of their teacher.
But no, they turn into devil spawn when they realise it was only me today.
But at least my class observation report didn't turn out too bad. :P
ok. Packing up. Father's coming anytime soon to pick me up.
